I had to stay up late to do it, but it's nice and white now, instead of dirty, stained beige. It feels good to be making progress!

Meg vs. The Bathroom: Back At It!

It has been a crazy long time but we started a project big enough that John demanded that it be documented. We are remodeling our master bathroom! We have known since we moved in that the shower would need replacing, and it got to the point that the wall was bulging and we couldn’t put it off any longer. I will spare the world a before picture because it was not pretty.

Now that John has a real doctor job and no summer to remodel like he did during med school, we bit the bullet and hired out the work. That means we are at the mercy of the contractors’ schedules, and so our bathroom has looked like this for over a week and will look this way for an indefinite future.

Thank goodness the toilet is still functional or we would have had a slew of accidents by now between the five boys!
